Finally there is a little more ‘uncommon sense’ sweeping widely across spiritual mindsets in Western communities. Even though there are still many ideological splits – especially in regards to those who lean towards a more gnostic view and those who engage more with new age perspectives – there appears to be a greater acceptance of the shadow across the entire spectrum.
It really got out of hand in a rainbows-and-unicorns fashion for a while, at least for some. The Eastern philosophies were appropriated into a significantly distorted and unrealistic happy-fest, which left many newer and older spiritual seekers confused about some very simple concepts.
It’s great to believe we know some answers to life’s deepest questions, or even important current affairs, especially in this inherently confusing existence where it first appears we’ve been born with an unshakable amnesia into a collective mental ward.
Yet given there’s an eclectic array of beliefs and opinions on every conceivable topic known to the collective mind and heart, it’s a surety that each and every one of us has gotten some of our perspectives spectacularly wrong.
Residents of earth are becoming more conscious in two primary areas.
The first relates to the way in which our planetary social system has been hijacked into a scam to predominately benefit a select few at the expense of the rest of us, as well as our natural systems.
The second concerns our intimate connection to all of reality, regardless if viewed through an ecological, scientific or metaphysical lens.
The role of the Shaman in the original peoples is to resolve issues of the tribe that other members were unable to rectify themselves. They heal, they influence, they transform, otherwise known as the art of magic.
Traditional and contemporary shamans do this by consciously venturing into the non-physical realm – a practice called ‘journeying’ – to dance with the spirits of their ancestors and their land to find answers to their current affairs, and assist the energetic rivers to flow in more desired directions.
Podcasts are exploding in popularity. They are an exciting medium for not just amusement, but learning too. Whilst people are cooking, gardening, cleaning, driving or for some, even when they’re working, podcasts are a great tool to eliminate boredom and make effective use of our time.
The Redesigning Society Podcast is both entertaining and informative. It maps out the discussions and debates which society should be having on a mass scale. It challenges the mainstream narratives on the way in which our social system is and could be designed by featuring researchers with powerhouse expertise in their respective fields.
Whilst Season 2 is currently under development, the guests on Season 1 include:
So much infighting. So much disagreement. So much disharmony. Humanity is dazed and confused like never before.
Given there’s so much intellectual and emotional carnage eating away at the truth, let me try and break down politics, economics and the division it has on all of us:
Trump might have lost a huge chunk of his support base, yet his backflips are good for America and the world because it’s another opportunity to create greater unity within the Truth and Freedom Network (TFN).
This is the opportunity we've been waiting for.
This is the moment when we can choose to be truly free, or in contrast, choose our enslavement.
I know you've struggled to deal with many of the harsh truths of the world, yet there's also so much brilliance to this reality that I don't want you to miss out on as well. But to feel that side of the coin, it's necessary to face how it all works on the systemic and material levels
Not surprisingly, the gap between the rich and poor continues to grow. Almost exactly one year ago, Oxfam released a report which stated that 62 people owned as much wealth as the bottom poorest half of the world's population. Now in alignment with the World Economic Forum in Davos, where the world's economic and corporate elite have met each year in Switzerland since 1971, Oxfam has released a report that indicates that the eight richest men now own as much monetary wealth as half the world.
